Kuro frowned at the fighting people. It was as if they were zombies so focused in their own world with its own rules. A heavy sigh escaped her lips. She doubted at this point that if she even stripped here, no one take notice other than Fricco, the young child across the room, and maybe the old bum helping her.
She felt a touch on her elbow. Goosebumps ran up her spine as he breathed her name. He was getting better at this. Her gray eyes averted to look at him. A small pout formed on her lips. The thought that she could not swindle brutes made her a bit agitated. She could if she really wanted to put forth more effort and if she did not have someone to entertain.
Slender fingers came up to massage her temples, pushing the dark brown tendrils of hair back. She was too tired and just wanted a drink. Perhaps she was slipping in her age. “Is there a specific place you recommend we leave to? The only requirement I prefer is a form of alcohol.”

“Ah? Somewhere else… “ Fricco trailed as his gaze shifted away from the bar fight and back toward Kuro. "Perhaps..." He paused, thinking about the different places he'd either been to, himself, or heard of from his co-workers and acquaintances. His lover favored an establishment called Lindblum; but, that a rather high dollar establishment. And, in the company of Kuro, he's rather not be recognized by Elliot's friends.
No... Somewhere else would certainty be best... Somewhere as far away from his current home as 7th Heaven. Somewhere that would not fit his boyfriend's expensive tastes...
Perhaps one of Mukki's favored haunts would do.
Tracing a finger along his lower lip, Fricco directed a cheshire grin toward Kuro. “There’s a place across town that some friends of mine like… A night club, I think… Called Choco-Beau.”

She eyed for a few seconds. She had a grin very similar grin to that. When someone saw a grin like that, it never meant they were up to no good. In truth, she had every reason NOT to trust him. Her eyes wondered over from his lips to his eyes. A brow cocked at him.
She heard of such a place. She had never been there, but if rumors were true she knew what to expect. Definitely not a quiet place, which was not quite her style, but she did tell him anywhere.
Her feet carried her to the door, before looking back at Fricco. “All right. You seemed to know more about this place than I, lead the way.” She bowed slightly and with an exaggerated grand sweep of her arms, made a gesture of ‘after you’.
This did not mean she trusted him. It was more along the lines of act now, ask questions later.

[[A/N: I should apologize to each and everyone that have been active in this particular roleplay. My timeline that I was personally playing by wasn't what everyone else was going by. For that, I'm deeply sorry. On a brighter note, this will be my last post in here so you all can continue at will. If you ever feel like rp'ing with me some more, be sure to catch me somewhere on the main boards. I should have a new rp started by the end of this weekend, or so I hope to anyways. That's the deadline I've set for myself. Thanks again to all of you. Your words and actions here have given me enough inspiration to break out of my shell and try my hand at role play once more.
Also, this seemed rushed but I wanted to be able to post before someone else said something and I'd have to retort to their respose. Apologies to Yazoo, you never got to really confront me but I promise you'll have your chance later on. Please note it wasn't intentional to ditch this before you could say anything. Thanks for understanding]]
In her rushed defense to protect her home, Marlene’s confidence built with each fistful of condiments thrown at her target. But in a sudden change of events, an unknown figure unsheathed a weapon, and before anyone could object the blade sunk deep into her opponents arm. All movement stopped briefly, even her ability to breathe was robbed at that very second.
..her heartbeat thundered inside her head…
…liquid droplets of crimson now dropped carelessly to the floor..
…heartbeat threatened to burst each ear…
..breathe…just breathe…
A voice was calling to her from far off in the distance. One she didn’t recognize right away until the woman called her out by her name bringing Marlene back to the present situation at hand. Sucking in a sharp breath, the air itself seem to cut into the lining of her lungs as she took two measured steps back and her arms fell limp at her sides.
…run Marlene, Run![/b]
Dropping what items she still held inside each hand, Marlene turned her attention to the woman responsible for the assault on the silver haired monster. She gave one curt nod to the lady, and without further instruction, she set her feet into motion. With an abrupt turn, she kept her chin tucked down as her eyes plotted the path for her escape. Before anyone could protest, the girl weaved in and around the patrons of the bar. Her speed never wavering as her brow furrowed deeper brushing past the dark haired woman that stood in the doorway leading to her escape.
Once she crossed the threshold and into the nightly streets, Marlene felt a calmness…she made it! But no, must keep moving! And so she did. Her legs ached as adrenaline seeped out of every pore urging her to move on.
…don’t look back, just keep moving
Where she would eventually wind up, no one really knew. But for now, Marlene was safe

With all the pomp of a dandy gentleman, Fricco returned Kuro’s bow, “Of course, Milady.” Straightening, he stepped to her side, offered his arm, and pulled her outside.
“This way, then,” he said with a half smile and narrowed eyes. It was a strange expression—one that he intended to be playful and welcoming. Instead, it came across as something between mischievous and sinister.
((And….. END SCENE! We’re moving to a new thread.))
