(COMPLETED! With rights reserved to revise and prettify at a later date.)
Name : Tsurabisu (Sometimes known as the X-Factor, hence the usage of X for a last initial when signing documents.)
Alignment/Affiliation : Technically speaking, he operates outside all canonical or major organizations. He affiliates himself with whoever can pay for his services without wasting his talents, or anyone he feels is worthy of his time.
Age : 29
Race : Human
Appearance : Standing approximately five foot nine and of athletic build, Tsurabisu has few features that make him stand out in a crowd. Generally clean shaven and well groomed, he keeps his long brown hair combed back when anticipating a professional deal, and allows his bangs to frame his face when in a more relaxed setting. Wearing darkly tinted sunglasses in most settings simply to hide where he is looking, Tsurabisu's bright emerald colored eyes are made visible only to those he trusts or works for.
Despite having no outstanding physical characteristics, Tsurabisu stands apart from many of his profession by his choice of apparel. He has never been seen wearing anything other than a tailored business suit, of quality enough to rival those of the Turks. The jacket and pants are a tint of navy so dark that it appears black until one leans in and checks it against something truly black, and his dress shoes are as well-maintained as they are worn-in. Generally wearing a maroon colored shirt beneath the jacket due to the lack of need to worry about certain rusty colored stains appearing upon it, the ensemble is generally finished off with one of various colored ties depending on his mood on that particular day.
Personality : Quiet and tightly reserved, Tsurabisu's general practice is to show little or no emotion in any semi-professional or higher level business deals or conversations. However, when entering a more relaxed environment, this high-profile assassin shows his true colors. Intelligent and opinionated, he has never undertaken a job in which he did not believe the completed goal would bring about a change for the better of the people. Well respected even among his own profession, Tsurabisu both demands and treats others with respect whenever he feels it is applicable. When it isn't, he does so with scathing sarcasm until he needs to make his point. He never says anything he doesn't mean on some level, however. And if a threat or warning is ever pointed your way, make sure you explain the meaning of the word "bluff" to him before you try to call it. It might just be your last mistake.
Abilities : Over the course of his long and varied career, Tsurabisu has learned how to turn his body into a tool. Able to control even the slightest movements of his body to the utmost degree, he has ensured that he remains the top of his field with rigorous daily training exercises and the highest degree of mental control. Familiarizing himself with any weapon he can get his hands on, Tsurabisu is competently trained in the usage of almost anything with a blade, blunt end, or projectile. Highly adaptable, he refuses to allow any situation catch him off guard, and will utilize whatever elements of his environment available to ensure the success of his mission at all costs.
Weapons : Despite the fact that he is comfortable using any kind of weapon, Tsurabisu has his preferences just like any human being. Ever-present on his person with only the rarest of exceptions, his two lifelong companions keep him reassured and feeling in control with their weight against his body. The larger of the pair is a solid, strengthened steel kodachi, tucked firmly through his belt or sometimes slung over his shoulder in a scabbard. Kept meticulously clean and sharp enough to cut with no pressure, the kodachi is Tsurabisu's main method of defending himself in close quarters. Because it is not especially effective for attacking due to its shortened length, Tsurabisu's primary method of close quarters combat is through mixed martial arts. Highly trained in both Karate and Drunken Boxing, his dabbling in the world of hand-to-hand combat leaves him a terror for those unprepared. Further augmenting his natural strength with fingerless gloves packing steel plates covering the knuckles and thick iron soles and tips within his unassuming dress shoes, Tsurabisu is easily able to break his opponent's bones without sacrificing his own.
From afar, however, his repeater takes charge. An old-world six-shot revolver updated to accommodate an extended magazine of 21 bullets, the gun itself is two-toned. Every piece can be seen as new or old based on the patina covering the original gun, and the bright, silvery polish of the new parts. While the gun is capable of firing very rapidly as a repeater, the scroll and hammer have not gone to waste. When necessary, every bullet can be made high-impact by the simple act of loading them directly out of the clip and into the stock. This can be done in seconds by rolling the stock and thumbing an additional button next to the added safety catch. From there, the hammer is drawn back for each bullet, nearly doubling the force of impact when that bullet strikes its target, though effectively halving its accurate range. Revolver shots have been known to leave larger exit wounds than entry, and so are reserved for kills when Tsurabisu is not concerned with cleanliness or feels that excruciating pain would be more appropriate.
History -
Tsurabisu was born to a loving father and mo...well, a loving father, at any rate. Due to a drug-induced haze, his mother hardly ever took notice of him except when she was demanding him to pick up her next fix or cursing at him to stay out of the way. Despite all these factors, his father's code of honor would not allow him to leave the mother of his child, no matter how badly she deserved it. Doing what he thought best for his child, the man stayed with her through all their hardships and disagreements. He tried hard to ignore his wife's many affairs, and sometimes even funded the hotel rooms she used just to keep his son from finding out.
Still, he knew his son would need at least one strong parent to grow up and be a proper man, and so he resolved to set the best example physically possible to make up for his wife's inadequacy. Teaching his son to always obey his superiors, be honest to all, and never forget his manners, Tsurabisu's father was largely responsible for many of his son's most enduring traits and habits. Unfortunately, he could not keep from his child the ways of the world for very long. Just two weeks before Tsurabisu's sixteenth birthday, his mother was brutally murdered by her most recently taken lover, who stole her drugs, what little money she had, and disappeared.
Despite what she had degenerated into, the woman was still his mother, and Tsurabisu was bound by his father's laws to avenge her. Fueled by years of pent up rage and aggression, the boy took what he knew of self-defense, his father's revolver, and what supplies he needed and set off into the world. Young, dumb, and untrained, he rapidly came to learn that asking around got him nowhere. No one knew the man he sought, and those that may have wouldn't have told him just for asking politely and hoping. Eventually, he ran across the wrong man and ended up with a broken nose and a bullet in his leg before he was saved.
Never learning the true name of the man who rescued him from certain death, or precisely why he had decided to help a dumb, rage-filled teen, Tsurabisu gratefully accepted the help his savior had to offer. Teaching the boy the art of sword play, and a second set of martial arts skills to compliment his own and vastly enhance his power without needing to strength train in order to maintain it, the man brought him to the peak of physical skill. Gifting him with the kodachi he still wields today upon his total recovery and readiness to move on, the nameless mentor told him who to look for to further his quest for revenge, then permanently disappeared from Tsurabisu's life.
Convinced that this was a sign his purpose was just and right, the young man set out to learn what he could. Over time, he learned that the men and women he was working with were assassins, but by that point he no longer cared. They were good, hard working people for the most part, who set right what needed to be fixed in the most efficient manner possible. Men never changed, but their removal could better the world. Over time, these precepts worked their way to his core, and Tsurabisu became an assassin in his own right when he finally tracked down and killed his mother's murderer.
With all set right in his personal world, Tsurabisu set out to set right the lives of others in the only way he had training to do. Becoming a master of killing by stealth or in risky situations, he soon made a name for himself as the X-Factor, a man who always hit his mark on time. Due to his odd quirk of always taking at least one weapon from the corpse of every man or woman he was contracted or forced to kill, he soon found himself practically swimming in weapons. Training himself to use each new piece out of shear boredom, he soon came to realize that there was more than one way to make money in the world.
Selling off the excess weaponry he didn't care to keep soon became a very lucrative business for Tsurabisu, and he became a part of the illegal weapons trade by age twenty four. While not the largest or best known, he soon made a name for himself as a reliable, discreet client who always delivered the requested goods at a fair, flexible price with no questions asked, and none answered in return. It is due to these dealings in part that he met some of the shadier people in the world, and one in particular who altered the way he did business permanently.
Now twenty nine and facing his thirtieth birthday within a month, Tsurabisu has no plans to change who he is or what he does. A successful merchant of death in many forms, this young assassin has no purpose in life but to see what little justice he can be paid for done and done well.
