A/N = I had such a hard time with this and i'm not even sure if I am going to keep this up. But I need pratice and pratice makes perfect correct? So here is just a simple test run of my backup
The morning weather wasn’t much for Leah’s liking. In fact, it down right flustered her to no end! No sunshine in sight, and especially not the best condition to take Charlie out for her scheduled ride. Nope. All plans had been canceled all because of some measly, ill gotten rain cloud not wanting to mosey on its way somewhere else. Instead it lurked overhead, dropping a sorrowful reminder that not only put a damper on her mood, but the surrounding grounds of the Marston’s family grounds.
It wasn’t long before she knew she had to do something before impending boredom took hold of her and ruined the rest of the afternoon. Within moments, Leah was dressed for her un expectant outing in a pair of worn denim jeans as well as her favorite pair of knock-around marsh snaked boots. Finishing up her ensemble, she chose a fresh off the line scented cotton ribbed tank top tucked neatly into the trim fitting waistline of her pants.
Before anyone else could object to her sudden change of plans, Leah was already on her way to spend the rest of her day at the golden saucer. And being a successful breeder of chocobo’s, along with years of friendship with Ester, the overseer of the races themselves, Leah had a free pass to come and go as she pleased. Once she was on the amusement parks grounds, she wasted next to little time getting out the gil she would need in order to exchange it for the golden saucers currency. With that sated, Leah left in tow with two heaping pockets filled of tokens. The spitfire rancher was soon on the prowl for something fun and entertaining to do. It wasn’t long before a set of words lit up in an old fashioned sign blinking “cotton candy”, drew her total fascination. As she read the sign silently to herself, her stomach groaned in protest. And that was all it took. Squaring her small frame, Leah set her sights on the particular mobile vendor paused just outside the arcades entrance.

Surprisingly enough, Leah was not the only one who had decided to make an escape from the rain. Unlike Leah, however, the particular individual who had unintentionally joined her in her shelter from precipitation was not there for the pleasure of the atmosphere. Hell, he wasn't even there just because it had been the closest place at the time. No, this particular suit-clad individual was perusing the distasteful shops of the Gold Saucer for no reason other than business. Opportunities were everywhere, and if he didn't take the time to find out what was popular with his customers, he would never be able to successfully adjust to demand and therefore keep his financial head above water to fund his honestly expensive tastes.
Though the people were disappointing and the attractions were meaningless to him, Tsurabisu did see a fair amount of potential all around him. True to his original thoughts, most people could easily be subverted into buying things at far higher prices than their actual value by some simple bait and switch tactics, such as false mark-downs or flashy advertising that doesn't deliver what it implies. Most people just needed to be drawn in, then they'd buy purely because they were there. Sighing and rolling his shoulders back a bit, the young man decided it was high time to get off his feet and relax with something warm to drink. As he was on his way to find a vendor for just such a purchase, however, someone recognizable caught his eye.
Well, recognizable to the man who memorized faces on meeting them.
Once he saw that the young woman who owned many of the chocobo which profited him so effectively, Tsurabisu simply couldn't resist heading over to not only introduce himself, but see about inspecting some of his lucrative business assets. Hands in his pockets, he changed course to intercept her as she was leaving the kiosk she seemed to be purchasing something or another from.

(A/N - haha don't ask. I said she's just like me so be warned)
With her arms packed full of tooth rotting goodies, Leah nodded a fond farewell to the Saucer’s employee bestowing upon him a humbling bright smile and a flirtatious wink, “Much obliged mister!” the thick laden accent apparent with each word spoken. The golden haired worker turned nearly as dark red as the candy apples he sold as he watched the spirited woman turn away from him and blend back into the crowd.
Then again, Leah had that way about her. Light hearted as ever, without a care in the world. All compacted into a small shapely frame, with just a hint of danger dangling freely from her thick rawhide belt. The coiled bullwhip danced lightly against her left hip swaying ever so slightly with the turn of her hips as she walked all while the holster to her ivory stock pistol held the gun snuggly in tact on her right.
Stopping shortly just shy of the corridor leading out to the main attraction, Leah takes a moment to readjust a few purchases but not before a small bag of gumballs escapes the confines of her right arm dropping to the hard cemented floor bursting the frail plastic bagging on impact.
“what in tar’na‘shun!?” the sandy haired rancher stomped her booted heel once in frustration as she watched idly by for a moment as the rainbow of gumballs pooled out from around her form.

Noting both her demeanor and the ungodly amount of sugar-laden crap in her arms, Tsurabisu had enough time to think that once more he'd been right in his previous line of thinking and hope that she wasn't planning to eat all of that junk by herself before the bag of gumballs slipped from her pile. Frowning as he realized he would be in no position to catch it in time, he simply pressed forward. Of course, things changed when the bag burst and gumballs went rolling in all directions.
Behind the dark tint of his sunglasses, the hired killer's eyes tracked the motion of those gumballs moving toward him, stepping between them as much as possible. When this became more trouble than it was worth, he simply paid attention to how they were rolling and compensated. Though it made him look as though he were wobbling with each step, only his legs shifted as his torso remained upright and steady, his weight distributed carefully so as not to crunch the gumballs under heel.
Approaching his target, the young man removed a hand from his pocket and took off his sunglasses, folding them and tucking them into the inner pocket of his jacket. "Ms. Marston, a pleasure to see you out and about." He greeted formally, brushing aside a few stray gumballs with a toe so he had room to stand without slipping or having to keep up his balance in such a ridiculous manner. "Perhaps you would allow me to replace your sweets, as I seem to have trodden on them, and take up some of your time?"

A darker toned voice brought Leah’s attention back to the present as her bright caramel gaze fixed on the stern facial structure of a strong strapping gent taking a brief moment to place a name to his face. “Oh!” with a flush of color turning her tanned cheeks a few decimals darker. “Mister Greystone I didn’t see you there!” her tone just a pitch too high than needed be, Leah’s lips quickly formed a genuine smile once more as she thrust out her left hand to give the man a proper greeting.

The young man allowed a thin smile to grace his lips, accepting her outthrust hand and shaking gently while trying not to dislodge any more of her sugary mountain. "Please, Ms. Marston, Cedric will do just fine." Releasing her hand, he glanced to her pile with a raised eyebrow as though just now noticing how large it really was, his smile widening into an amused sort of smirk. "Planning on a long and fun-filled day in the Saucer, are we?"

And like his demeanor, his handshake was nothing short of professional. So much so, Leah chided herself a bit. Breaking contact with the taller gent, she readjusted her hold on the variety of sweets still scattered within the folds of her clothing and fringed coat.
“You got that rh’ight! Gotta do sum’thin in this down pour yah’ know?” turning her sights back up, she fixed her smile as she tightened her grip some and lifted the stash of goodies in her arms up to him, “but help yer’self sir”

When she offered him some, the young man's smile quirked a stage wider and he cleared his throat slightly. "That's all right, Ms. Marston. I'm not a big fan of overly sugary things." He shifted his weight slightly, moving to withdraw his wallet from his back pocket. "Allow me to replace your gumballs, however. Then we can be seated and perhaps even talk a little business, if you've the time to spare for me." Without awaiting an answer, he moved to get in line at the vendor she'd just stepped away from.
Frowning slightly over the prices, he sighed and shook his head slightly. He supposed he would just have to win back what he was losing to courtesy at the races today. Within minutes, and with a bag of gumballs in hand and a much lighter wallet in his pocket, he returned to Leah's side.

“..but!”, was all she could get out and he’d left to purchase what she’d so hastily wasted. Frowning a bit, she couldn’t help but think that man was nearly as stubborn as he pa. A shake of her head, Leah’s thoughts traveled back to a particular chocobo that was no doubt as miserable as the weather that loomed overhead. Her mood sank a tad as she mumbled to herself that she would return by nightfall and give her beloved Charlie a sack of fresh greens and a good once through with his favorite brush.
Feeling a looming presence once more, Leah whipped her head upright and looked the gentleman in the eye before lowering her gaze to the item placed within his hand. “You didn’t have’ta do that you know” she spoke softly feeling a bit awkward suddenly under the man’s inspecting gaze. Shaking off the uncertainty just as quickly as it fell upon her, Leah straightened her posture and with a determined chin, she set her sights back on Cedric without faltering. “So Mister Cedric, what’s yer’ plans for today? Come atah check out the new crop of birds? There are some beauties… one I think you might be mighty fond of”

"Actually, it wasn't my original plan to come here today. But this suit is due for another rain treatment and I'd rather not see it ruined, so..." He chuckled softly, feeling as though that probably sounded more foolish to her than it felt to him. "At any rate, if you have new racing stock, you know I'm always in the mood to see it. If you'd like, I'd be happy to carry some of that candy for you. I'd hate to see you drop anything more."
