Personally I thought showing Sephiroth as a hero throughout most of CC was a pretty refreshing view of the character, since the villian Sephiroth has been overused almost the point of absurdity. Speaking of which, anyone here have any new info on Dissidia? I've searched and searched for any new bit of info only to come up empty handed on all occassions. Looks like it's a very hush hush project for the time being.

I have a bone to pick with the Crisis Core Strat. Guide

According to their "personal data" on Tifa, it reads:

Tifa meets Cloud in Nibelheim during the events of Crisis Core and their friendship carries over to Final Fantasy VII. Tifa has always 'liked' Cloud and enjoys helping him restore his memory when they reunite in Final Fantasy VII.

She ultimately lets her feelings be known near the end of Final Fantasy VII and the two can be seen living together during the events of Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus.


Now it's my turn to say...

WTF!?!?! Let her feelings be known!?!?!? SINCE WHEN!?!?!?! Did I miss the part at the end of VII where she TELLS him she loves him? Uh NO, I don't think so... so wtf SE?


I just thought that was odd... was also interesting to me that Aerith's birth was taken place at Icicle Lodge =)

To me, it still doesn't make sense, nearly everyone I point it out to thinks I made it up since I'm such a Lockhart fangirl But I took that word for word directly from the Brady Guide.

Maybe they didn't want a lot of hate mail so they stuck it in a guide and figured only a few people would take notice?

It's quite a touchy subject for Square to say one way or the other. I feel they want to appeal to all fans and not a select few. As for the comment left in the brandy guide, there is also subtle hints left for everyone to pick up on in the small paperback booklet sold with Advent Children Collector's Box that suggest Cloud loves Tifa more than a friend.

I don't have it infront of me, but I recall a few excerpts where he catches the fighter off guard and it's quite obviously flirting. Later into the storyline under "Tifa", she gets the courage up to ask Cloud while he's at the brink of sleep if he loves her. However, when he turns to face her, she's quick to choose her words again and asks if he loves marlene instead.

You missed the point I think. According to the brady guide, this happened during the course of the game itself (VII), the books timeline is what happens a couple weeks AFTER the game ends and carries into where Advent Children picks up.

So I ask again, is there any line of dialog that I may have "missed" in VII, where Tifa professes her love to that chocobo butthead?? (Sorry Cloud >.<, just annoyed by this little detail I've stumbled across is all)
