So, you sent me a random PSN message to stop my whining about how we never talk on PSN? Thanks, Seph, thanks. lol From the sound of it, those who you talk to on the phone and in person may have as hard of a time getting ahold of you as your internet friends. Not to be painstakingly obvious, but we could have avoided that entire voice chat fiasco had one of us just called the other. lmfao Still speaking of phones, I hope I'm one of said 'close associates'?

I didn't intend for my PSN PM to sound that way...it too, was rushed, since it took place in that critical time between matches. Also, I am actually surprisingly easy to reach by phone. The only time my phone is off is during classes/flights, and the only time my phone is on that you can't reach me is when I'm in the shower. Considering that altogether that amounts to about 23 hours per week of time that I am unreachable by phone (in comparison to the 168 hours in a week), I'd say you're almost guaranteed to reach me on my phone (which in retrospect, yes, would have been the ideal alternative to the voice chat fiasco that day. My apologies, the thought failed to cross my mind at the time). In any case, to answer your question, yes, you will be one of the close friends that will be receiving my new phone number. To be more specific, I'll be having two new phone numbers. I'll be getting a new one over Thanksgiving break, and another one over Christmas break, so I will have two numbers where one will be able to reach me (I will designate which one is primary and which one is alternate when the time comes.)

You realize I was only kidding about the PSN comment, right? The message following that one was just in good fun as well, I assure you. I wouldn't really know about your availability of phone, though, since we never actually talk outside of the internet. lol I'm very happy to recieve the change despite that fact, though. Thank you! ^-^
I'm serious about the role play in the other topic, Sephiroth. The available lot of us need to get something started before I go crazy! You're already wanted in another topic, but I have nothing to do. -_-

I'll jump right on that then since I just got to my dorm and don't really feel like setting up my PS3 at this hour...

You know someone made a joke about this game being racist and it's kinda true. Barret really does look like he's inflating a basketball and shooting it when he uses Big Shot.

Not to mention he ends up being like... The only black guy for the next few games.

I haven't been following the FFXIII news too much, to be honest.

Neither have I. I'm not really interested in a female Cloud. Or some guy named Snow(I think) that looks like Seifer. I just said I can't wait as a way of just saying there's a black guy with a chocobo living in his hair.
It's going to take alot to get me back into this series. FFX was the last new FF I played that I really enjoyed. FFXII was a let down. The dialogue and voice acting I thought was great but the overall plot and character development dissapointed greatly. There were lots of optional things to do but it was very repetitive. Plus the game has all these different races and species but all you get is a bunch of humans! Why?! Oh yeah you get one Viera. Okay great. FFIX gave you different species. Half of the party in that game I think were non human.
Also Square needs to give this game a rest. I don't have the energy to get into this tho. Maybe later. >.<

Yeah, I've lost interest in the Final Fantasy series to the point where I'd skip playing a new one to go back and play an old one instead. I've been disappointed greatly with all of their new works. FFXIII is starting to show signs that its going to be disappointing, and with the news that FFXIV is going to be an MMO, I'm pretty much giving up on new numbered FF's. Once the Compilation of FFVII is over, it may very well be that I'll give up Final Fantasy for good. Square just can't seem to capture the same magic and glory of the old FF's anymore. IMO, FF stopped being good after FFVIII, and stopped being great after VII.

I can't take FFVIII seriously anymore after I read this screenshot LP of it. The guy just made a complete mockery of it. You want the link I'll give it to you. FFIX is my favorite. I'm re-playing that right now. My only complaint with it is that it's story starts off pretty slow. I started playing FFVI again and I'm about to go to the opera house. I want to play FFIV. FFV I didn't care for. Same with FFII. FFX I like just b/c of the nostalgia....oh and Rikku. FFX-2 wasn't THAT bad....the only reason I liked it is cuz of...well Rikku. >.> I haven't played any of the tactics games. I want to though.

I've played just about all of them, and the only one's I honestly really enjoyed playing from start to finish were FFIV and VII. The rest I enjoyed to varying degrees, with some that I even downright hated.

Honestly I can't play FFVII's first disc anymore. It bores the hell out of me. The whole story is basically like Mario Bros. "We're sorry but Sephiroth is in another town!". Although I think that was better than the attack of the clones crap from Crisis Core. "ZACK! WE GOT CLONES HERE!" "Ugh...again?!" I know that hating FFVII is the new cool thing but that is not why I'm hating on it. I'm just tired of it. And plus now I can see more of it's faults. Reno and The Turks are not one of them. But I wish they could kick more ass instead of being just clowns.

Yeah, it gets easier to spot the faults of any game with each successive playthrough. If they remake it, though, Square Enix would instantly ascend to godhood and I would pre-order the game as soon as its announced.
