Discuss if Cloud would live "forever" like Vincent due to both heavy Mako and Jenova cell infusion.

No. Following the events of Advent Children, such a thing seems unrealistic. For starters, the Jenova cells in his body were removed (the presence of Jenova cells in the human body was the cause of the Geostigma virus, in which the body's immune system was overworking itself in a futile attempt to destroy the Jenova cells in the bloodstream). As for the Mako, it was merely a way to drastically enhance the natural performance of those who had it in their blood. It seems unrealistic to beleive that one would live forever simply because of that. Plus, Cloud's situation is very different from, say, Sephiroth, so the two can't really be compared in that respect (just saying, just in case someone would try to bring that argument up)...

True, true... Cloud actually stated himself that Mako was used for ENHANCEMENTS... Though one could assume that it would lengthen the lifespan, forever would be a bit of a stretch...
...But, what do I know? xD I've been dead for going on four years...! xD
...Where did all of the other members slink away to? 0_o

I would assume that, based on the ending of VII (and the same scene which was replayed in AC at some point, don't remember exactly where), that most, if not all of the AVALANCHE members, with the exception of Red XIII, are dead (after all, 500 years is a long friggin time).
Based on what that small extra scene showed us, one can assume that AVALANCHE was ultimately successful, and the everything turned out fine, despite how bleak everything seemed in VII, AC, and Dirge. It appeared more or less that the planet restored itself over time, although it's difficult to say what ended up happening to the people (considering Edge was built on the ruins of Midgar, and those same ruins were overun with forest in said scene). Perhaps they all died out? Maybe relocated to another area? Or perhaps, with their lack of advanced technical knowhow that the ShinRa corporation provided, they've been reduced to living off the wilderness as jungle people? There are many conclusions that can be drawn. And what of Genesis and Sephiroth, whose ultimate fates remain uncertain even after the endings of AC and Dirge? There's alot of speculation to be made on all those points...
But I'm just rambling at this point to kill time...

Eagerly awaiting the remake for the PS3, though? ^^
I know that I am! ...I'm just hoping that they don't change even the SLIGHTEST thing... ...AND that they add a special ending that hopefully ties it all together... xD

I highly doubt there is going to be a remake... but who knows. What's a couple more million going to hurt Square right?

They're in the process of making it. I've seen the entire first video... No gameplay pieces are out yet, but they just started it, so I have faith in them... xD

The only issue with that final scene is the factoid that it was in the Orignal FFVII.
Hence it does not take account to all the other bits of the collective group, like AC or Dirge.
Beside that, Vin could live at least a pretty damn long time.

I will counter that factoid by stating that it was indeed in AC as well...and if you don't beleive me, watch it again (and when I say watch, I mean EVERYTHING, down to the slightest detail, including credits and all, and all the extra material, assuming you got the bonus disc. I'm certain that it is in there somewhere...

I think the opening video for the PS3 was just a test for what was possible, but I'm really not sure if I've read anything about there being a definite remake. My cynicism says no, but my blind faith in Square-Enix says yes...
