I thought Kingdom Hearts II was supposed to be pretty long. I dont know how long it is cuz I've never played it but I'm gonna get it soon.

Well, it depends really on how good you are. But a pro can breeze through the game in but a few hours (my record is 6, close to 7, I'll have to verify with my save file)

For KH 2? Whoa it took me 5 hours to get through the beginning when you control Roxas.

Well, the first time around always takes a long time, since you're figuring out the basics (or, assuming you've got the basics from the start, figuring out where everything is and where you have to go next). Once you've cleared it a few times and have learned everything you need to know for a speed run, it becomes simple, even on Proud Mode...

Apparently such a project is already in the works at Square Enix...although the topic has received neither confirmation nor rejection from Square Enix...
So it's still a big guessing game for most of us...

I don't. I like to know anything and everything concerning a subject of discussion ahead of time. It saves me the anxiety.

Right - sorry, I just wanted to post this because, believe it or not, I've only just been able to play Dirge of Cerberus, and I was wondering a couple of things. (Strange, I know, but...)
1) Did anybody else get the feeling that the pronunciation of certain words were a bit weird? For example, I always thought Mako was pronounce 'May-koh' but they pronounce it 'Mah-koh' - Lucrecia was 'Loo-cree-she-ah' to me but they say it's 'Loo-cretz-ee-ah'... It was one of those Final Fantasy X things where I got pissed with the way they pronounced Chocobo and Tidus (Choe-co-bo? Do you pronounce 'chocolate' as 'chokealate'? And... Teeeeeeee-dus?)... I haven't read many earlier posts in this this thread, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating somebody else.
2) Why is Lucrecia so damned annoying? I didn't exactly like her in FFVII anyway, but in Dirge of Cerberus she just irritates me sooooo much...
3) The flashbacks... dear god, the flashbacks...
Otherwise, I think that DoC was alright - kind of like Final Fantasy meets Devil May Cry via Metal Gear Solid, in a weird and not always satisfying way. Still, I'd easily play it again... if only to hear Cait Sith squeak "Good gracious me!" in that wonderfully OTT Scottish accent again.

1) Actually, that IS how Mako and Lucrecia are pronounced. Can't say the same for FFX though...
2) Umm...I never payed that much mind. I didn't find her to be a great character, but I didn't find her irritating either....
3) I feel your pain...

Not to revive an old topic or anything, but if they are really pronounced like that, then why are they NOT pronounced like that?
Honestly, I refuse to believe that "Tidus" is actually "Teedus."
It's the same as "May-ko" and "Ma-ko"...
...I always thought "Lucrecia" was pronounced "Loo-cre-see-ah..." ...And that damned T people started adding to it drove me CRAZY...
...Sorry. I just noticed this, and I had to rant...

No matter how his name is pronounced, I still call him "Tie-dus"
But, that is how Lucrecia is pronounced. Regardless, due to habit, I always call her "Loo-cree-sha"

I surfed You Tube again for the secret ending because it finally made some sense to me. Genesis looked...evil. Creepy rather. The size of his wing made Sephiroth's look puny, lol. But anyway, I love that he still wore his wardrobe that's identical in Crisis Core even tho it was shredded. ;D www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3Z3B189cFE

I always pronounced it Tide[like a wave]-us. Mistakenly so I guess, but I always thought it fit because of the water theme.
