1. 2nd or even third profiles are A-OK in my book. Some of the other players on this board have double profiles, so I don't see any reason to deny you that much.
2. Interest, yes. Not enough of one to warrant going out to buy the game, though. It's a cool concept, sure, but one that demands that you have a good group of friends to play effectively with. And the gameplay itself is lackluster in comparison to, say, Modern Warfare 2. So, I'm afraid that unless it gets lowered to bargain bin prices, or I suddenly win the lotto, I'd have to say negative on MAG. Sorry.

Like I said, I think it WOULD be worth putting the money into IF you had a large group of friends playing it that you could form a squad with. But just two or three friends joining up with random squads in game is going to detract from the experience. They put forth a good concept with MAG, but the gameplay is going to have to be refined a bit more if they want to attract the people I normally play with on MW2. I honestly really did want to buy this game, but it'll be pointless if you can't get a coordinated team effort going, the game will just wear on you and get dull. As it stands, the only shooter you'll have a chance of playing with me in the foreseeable future is Modern Warfare 2. Other than that I limit my online to sporadic Marvel vs. Capcom 2 matches and once in a blue moon I'll hit some of the games I touch less often like Uncharted 2, BlazBlue, and in EXTREMELY rare cases Metal Gear Online.

Oh right, true true. I would of gotten MW2 a billion years ago but of course, I HAVE to be 16 and not 17. Cos itll make SUCH a big influence on my growing mind if god forbid I should get my VERY impressionable hands on it at an age that is a year below the set age I can purchase it at. *rolls eyes*
I have the biggest beef with ESRB, cant you tell? XD

Yeah, well, tis the rules, I guess. Not as bad as when I was a kid where I COULD legally purchase those games but my parents would let me. That was REALLY fucked up.

Jr. year? Were you on delayed entry or something? So far as I know you can't sign up without a high school diploma. And damn, you were still 17 your Jr. year? I graduated my Sr. year at 17.

Yeah, it was a delayed entry program, I had to have a parent sign off so I could join. I did basic during the summer. before my sr. year. I still went to my unit tho, they overrode my high school at times, so some friday's I was gone. I was the only person at my high school in the actual military at the time tho, haha.

Wow, never heard of it working that way. But if there's anything I know about the service from my short time in...its that there are always exceptions to the rule. Always.

Well, the Military overrides a lot of basic things in the "normal world" such as apartment leases and what not, so if I missed a day of school due to my service, they could write a letter for me, and the school couldn't count me absent from classes so it wouldn't count again me and potentially expel me for excessive absences. whatnot.

Just following the rhetoric of "Service before Self", I suppose. So, did you get deployed at all? I was only one one, out to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.

No, I never did. I ended up filling empty desks where I was stationed, when half my unit was deployed.

Oh, I know the feeling. A common saying in aircrew squadrons like mine was "If you're not flying planes, you're flying desks." Too true....
