((Only those involved should be posting here. Judges should only post if something out of place occurs.))
Inside the Grand Arena of Palamecia, Mateus stands alone in the center. The cheering coming from the audiance is enough to deafen anyone. He relaxes to enjoy his publics approval before silencing them.
"Thank you my loyal friends. Welcome to the Arena. A place where friends and foes alike can either destroy each other or team up against some of the nastiest beasts I have below. And to start us off, I have a tale of Tragedy. Two brothers, facing off in the ever-enjoyable story of Darkness Vs Light. Introducing first, representing the Cetran Black Knights is Ashnard Excalibur."
Ashnard walks out from an archway to Mateus right. Most of this side of the arena is on Ashnards side. The Knight looks huge in his black armor and two-handed sword that sparkles in the sunlight. The swords name is Alondite.
"And on the other side, we have the brother representing the Paladins aka the White Knights. Axel Celosar"

Axel slowly made his way into the arena, wearing nothing but the clothes on his back and the sword in his hand. Already he was outmatched as far as equipment was, but his honor was at stake and there was no way he would disgrace the Paladins by refusing to fight. He was still wondering just how it had come to this anyway, still questioning the chain of events that led to him fighting his own brother. It made him sick to his stomach, but if he refused this, it would not only shame the Paladins, but his own family and Ashnard himself.
He strode forward more proudly, still having his sword at the ready as he faced his brother with a determined look on his face, he didn't know what he was thinking, maybe he was just as confused. All Axel could hope was that Ashnard would yield when this was over, Axel would never forgive himself if he was forced to kill his own brother die to some ancient gladiator rules.

"Whod have thought?" Mateus hissed as he looked between the pair. Ashnard had now removed his helmet showing short, red hair and judging by the size of his head, the rest of his body just looked massive in comparison. Ashnard stabbed the ground with Alondite and the armor caught fire before vanishing. Ashnard losing at least a ft in height.
"Fine, use your knight codes or whatever but remember. My Arena has no rules whatsoever." Mateus slowly backed away to a stairway that lead to a box (similar to a skybox) that overlooked the arena. Ashnard looked at Axel quickly before smiling childishly.
"Lets see if black or white is better bro. Just dont hold back on me" Ashnard went to one knee and did a quick Cetran chant which made Alondites blade emit a fiery glow.
"Oh Im growing bored now. BEGIN ALREADY" Mateus ordered from above. Ashnard jumped back starting off and cast two fireballs from his free hand. Both would hit Axel in the chest, but once the second was released, Ashnard was already mobile and was running sideways once the first flame was close to hit or be blocked. Once the second got close, Ashnard was now NW of Axel (the flames are coming from the west). He came running with Alondite and went for Axels right shoulder with a diagonal swing

Axel channeled his power through his sword and activated the Bolt materia that was inserted inside it. He pointed the sword at Ashnard and released a few volleys of Bolt to dissipate the fireballs. Taking note of where Ashnard came at him and raised his sword to block. The force of the size of his sword was so huge that Axel was forced to go down on one knee to have enough strength to hold the sword back.
As soon as enough force was there to spare, Axel angled his sword downward so that the weight of Ashnard's sword would force him to go down at an awkward angle. As soon as it happened, Axel lunged forward and aimed for his brother's back as he attempted to hit it as hard as possible with the hilt of his sword.

As Ashnard fell towards the ground, he rolled head first three times before stopping on his side. He saw Axels blade going back after the attempted attack on his back. This was definitely going to be interesting.
Ashnard ran forward once again but this time, the way he ran was strange. His feet seemed to kick sand all over the place. Once he was in striking range, Asahnard started kicking sand up much higher towards Axels face. Once enough sand was seperating them, Ashnard went to the air and came down with Alondite pointing down in a Braver-Like attack.

As soon as the sand started getting kicked up all over the place, Axel knew this was just a distraction. He focused on his surroundings for anything that could give his brother away. As he looked, out of the corner of his eye, a large shining light came from above, he looked up quickly to see the sun shining off of his brother's blade. He only had a moment to jump back, and even then it was a close call as he landed on his back and the blade tip was only a few inches from his body.
So if his brother was going to use sand, then so would he. As he was down on the ground, he grabbed a handful of it and got back on his feet as he chucked the whole handful into Ashnard's face, hoping to temporarily blind him. Seeing as this might be too much of a disadvantage, he chose for a critical attack, instead of a deadly one as he rushed forward to tackle his brother as hard as possible.

As Axel tackled Ashnard, both fell to the ground. Ashnard landing on his back and as the smaller of the pair, that was working against him. He moaned as his back met a pointed rock which dug into him.
Guess thats my fault for kicking so much sand up. Ashnard thought to himself and laughed a little at his foolishness. He saw that axels weight was lifting as he moved, so Ashnard rolled to his right, under Axel and soon got to his feet. Alondite was also here as Ashnard dropped it from the tackles impact. As Ashnard stood, he was forced to lean on Alondite as his back pain was worst when his back was straight.
"Gha...not bad for a whittie" Ashnard teased at the paladin before Alondite took on a green (wind) color. Ashnard swung three times making three wind based disks. They spun with a wild sharpness towards Axel and almost seemed to make a saw like sound.

Axel saw as the blades of wind came screaming at him. He raised his sword to block as he slashed away the first two, but the last one was too quick as it sliced across his chest as went off to hit the arena wall.
Axel looked down on his chest as he saw the wound start to bleed. He looked up at Ashnard with a smirk "Thanks... That is all I needed."
--Limit Break 2-2:Virtuous Cross--
Axel ran towards Ashnard as his sword started to shine bright white, it seemed like he was going to hit his brother with all that force of holy energy, but instead he stood as close as possible to him an then stabbed the ground!
The light in the sword seemed to go out as the attack looked like it was wasted, but instead the energy started spilling into an ornate glyph on the ground, at least twenty feet by twenty feet in area. The whole thing was actually quite beautiful in its design.
But in a sense, that was part of the trap.
For as soon as the glyph was complete, the entire glyph started pouring out holy energy, dishing out pain after pain as long as the person was within the glyph, before finally all the energy shot up from the ground, hoping to take everyone except Axel to the sky with it as it exploded and dissipated in the air.

The first wave from the Glyph knocked Ashnard a few feet into the air. A second wave knocked him even further as he came back down. When the third one started to show, Ashnards body flashed as the light hit him. His body was gone as the light got too bright for anything to be visible.
"Bravo White knigh. Bravo" Mateus cheered from the stands as he got to his feet ready to declare Axel the winner. That was until the light shattered and from within a dark force cut its way out and the glyph shattered. The towering Black Knight stood firmly on the ground. Inside though Ashnard was bruised and battered. But Alondite gave a radiant glow in Ashnards Grasp.
Limit Level 3a: Eclipse
Ashnard ran effortlessly in his armor towards Axel with four precise strikes. The first one was diagonal and coming from his chest. This one included the "Armor Break" ability. The second was going for his weapon at full force. Once it hit, Power Break would be in effect, for the third Ashnard swung in an uppercut move with his fist which would do little damage, but knock Axel into the air where hit 4 comes in. Ashnard spun Alondite who turned black. Ashnard then released a black beam from the sword towards Axel. The beam taking the face of a dragon made of black energy and racing towards Axel and exploding on contact with anything.

The first hit swiped across Axel as if to make an X with the previous cut, though to be fair it looked more like a Y. The second hit was so hard on Axel's sword that it was sent flying in the other direction and impaled the arena wall. The last hits were devastating as Axel was flown upward by the punch, and caught the black beam at full force. He fell back down to the arena floor with a large whump.
He seemed motionless for awhile as it seemed the match was won. He was covered in so many cuts and bruises it wasn't even funny. Yet it appeared he was still up and about as he started to slowly crawl over to his sword. It was painstakingly long, but finally he reached it. However, instead of pulling out the sword, he actually used it as leverage to pull him upwards. He appeared to be fiddling with it at first, until he suddenly turned to face Ashnard with a wide smirk on his face. "Round 2 brother."
In his hands was what looked like a green marble, from the marble came a rainbow of colors that enveloped him totally. ((Cure 3)) Almost instantly, the bruises disappeared one by one and the cuts healed themselves. Axel rotated his head once as a few small cracks were heard. Feeling confident, he wrapped his hands around the hilt of his sword and pulled it out of the wall.
Wanting to put some distance between the two, he decided to go for some magic attacks as he switched the marble in his hand with another in the hilt. ((Ice 3)) The area around Axel got very cold and blue as moisture started to gather and solidify around him until he had four large and very sharp icicles above his head. He raised his hand straight upward as the icicles flew upward, to which Axel brought his hand down hard as all four icicles came down at an angle to strike down Ashnard.

Ashnard laughed as Axel got up and made it clear they hadn't started yet.
"Round Two indeed. Lets put on an amazing show" Once Axel got his blade back in his hand, Ashnard stood in his ready stance. When Axel suddenly changed his tactics and went with spells, Ashnard was suspicious.
Odd. He should know Black Knights are better when it comes to spells During Ashnards confusion, the four icicles came down. Ashnard was unaware until Alondite suddenly went red. Ashnard looked up and the first icicle (smallest) came right down and caught him on the cheek. A nice scar covered him but as the others came, Ashnard went into the air and used Flametongue to smash through them. Blood was still pouring from his cheek as he stood looking at Axel.
Ashnard came running towards Axel and Alondite turned yellow. Sparks flying from the blade. Ashnard stopped a sizeable distance away and slammed Alondite down hardThe sword his the ground and a beam of pure lightning raced right across the ground. (Similar to Squalls Blasting Zone in Dissidia, not the oversized one in ff8)

Ashnard shouldn't have been surprised at Axel using Black Magic. Sure he was originally trained to only use White magic, but it shouldn't be an excuse to not learn more. He calmly waited until Ashnard recovered from this attack so he was ready to guard against whatever his brother did next.
When the ground-lightning attack came at him, it was almost as if it was attracted to him as he tried running away to avoid being hit by it. It continued to chase him around for a bit like some old time cartoon chase scene. Eventually, Axel got the idea to let go of his sword, the lightning immediately went for the metal and went for it instead of him.
When the attack hit the sword it flashed for a bi, then seemed to quiet down as Axel felt it was safe to pick up his sword again. However, the attack turned out to only be dormant, for as soon as Axel picked up the sword, the attack hit its mark as the power surged through Axel as if he felt like he was hit by static electricity ten times stronger all over his body.
Feeling rather pissed off at this, Axel charged right for Ashnard, but about 3/4 of the way, he actually threw his sword right at him! It moved almost like a missile as the path went to slice across his side and land beside him. Yet in truth, this was only a distraction as Axel continued to charge at Ashnard, jumped as high as he could, and went for a double kick right at his head!
