A/N - This is going to be someone that is in all sense of the word, normal. She will not be using materia, nor will she have super abilities like Cloud and the others. (being able to leap into the air and stay for any length of time) Leah is me. At least she's more me than anyone I've ever dared to create. So please bare that tidbit in mind before passing judgment on her bio. Thanks guys
Full Name - Leah Rose Marston
Nickname or Abbreviations : N/A
Alignment / Affiliation : Neutral
Race : Human
Age : 20
Job or Specialty : Ranch hand, scavenger
Home Town: Marston Ranch (neighboring Chocobo Farmlands)
Current Residence: Marston Family Ranch house
Physical Appearance: Roughly 5’7 with a warm sun kissed skin tone. Ashe brown hairstyle laying flush with her shoulder line. Chestnut eyes framed in thick laden lashes. Sturdy build with enough definition to accent her physical abilities yet subtle enough to pass as a woman of leisure.
Clothing preferences: Leah keeps her appearance pretty low key. She prefers soft textures such as buckskin and cotton. Most days she dresses like the stereotypical ranchers would; leather chaps, fringed leather coat with a simple tank underneath. Topping it off with a pair of heavy leather boots and a well rimmed hat to ward off the glare of the suns rays.
Noticeable Markings : Left bicep tattoo of black barbwire that wraps fully around the muscle in a continuous design.
Personality : Strong willed woman that is driven to finish tasks she has set for others and herself. Leah’s non-judgmental. Very care-free with a passion for freedom. She works hard and cherishes her leisure time after a long days work. She may be shy in a large crowd, but by fault she’s the friendliest stranger you’ll come across
Weapons / Armory : A semi automatic revolver hand crafted with the Marston’s family seal displayed on either side of the stock.
Bullwhip - Moderately heavy with the weight carried out into the thong. Well balanced with a 12 foot radius. Twin tipped lash sealed with a thick steel coating.
Simple survival kit including a knife with black cast metal handle, detachable hand guard, precision compass built into butt cap.420 stainless steel blade with saw back. A sturdy rawhide sheath & pouch which contains a can opener, sharpening stone, animal snare, snakebite kit, and matchsticks
Materia: N/A
Miscellaneous : None that I can think of, but I’ll add whatever in later
Brief History:
Leah’s childhood would be envied by many. Both parents loved her with all of their hearts. There wasn’t much that Leah had to do without. Although some would considered her sheltered from the real world, her parents made sure she was raised with unbiased beliefs. And instilled in her the will to better the world and everything around her. Regardless if that meant human or beast. She was taught to respect life and live hers to the best of her ability.
Outside of her studies, Leah learned at an early age the basics of running and maintaining the family ranch. Some of her favorite duties were feeding the livestock & chocobo’s. As a reward for her continued dedication and support, her father gifted Leah on her tenth birthday with her very own golden Chocobo. Overjoyed by his compassionate gift, Leah happily named her new companion after her father, Charlie. From the moment the girl and bird were introduced, they immediately bonded. Leah’s love for Charlie turned into a favorite past time of hers. Once all her homework and chores were complete, she would spend the rest of the afternoons tucked away in various corners of the ranch with the golden bird in tow, grooming and all together spoiling the animal rotten.
Once she started to get some height to her, her father felt it was time to teach Leah how to break wild choco’s from the marshlands. At first it proved to be more than what her body could handle at the time. But like any task set before her, Leah was determined that she would prevail no matter what. Some months later, Leah successfully broke her first choco. Barely past her thirteenth year, Leah’s skills sharpened greatly as she proved to be a valuable asset to the family’s business.
It wasn’t till she was around her fourteenth year that tragedy took a toll on the Marston’s. At first, it was inconspicuous signs that her mother’s health started to decline. Headaches leading to body aches. Random fevers to unusual bruising of the skin. Although the family’s wealth covered the cost of medicines, it soon began to bleed as her mother’s health steadily declined till she was eventually confined to her bed. Leah and her father stood by helpless, while doctors and medical professionals visited their home day in and day out. No one able to answer what mysterious disease it was that was robbing the woman of her life so quickly. It wasn’t till a year later that others around the planet started to suffer from the same symptoms as Leah’s mother. By then, there was no hope. Her mother passed away before the chosen day where the skies rained down the magical rain washing the geostigma away completely.
Without the aid of a motherly figure in her life, Leah’s determination to see it through and make the most of it drove her more than ever to make things right. Dropping her classes all together, she turned her full attention to the ranch. Allowing her father the time to grieve the loss of his wife, Leah focused more on what was needed. Orders, care for the animals, and the basic needs for the household. Taking the lead role of the household, it gave Leah a true taste of what it meant to be an adult.
Present Day : Leah’s ranch has once more become the leading producer of champion Chocobo’s. Taking what her parent’s and loved ones have taught, her she has turned into a booming business. As for Charlie, well, he has blossomed into a fantastic show bird (and is still quite spoiled thanks to Miss. Marston)
Role play Sample :
Haven't made it that far. Still working on the idea of her as a whole
