Although I've seen it from start to finish **glares daggers at another friend for leaking it**, I'm looking forward to being able to actually play it and experience the demo for myself. Some of the controls already remind me a great deal Mass Effect 1. I just hope it runs smoother. I'd take the controller setup with ME 2 over 1 anyday. Ah well, less than a day away =)

I love tribute videos that are done right. Like this one:
In any case...just waiting patiently now...
EDIT: According to the official Mass Effect forums, the demo will be available on PC at around 1 pm EST, and on PS3 about 7 pm EST. Its already available on Xbox Live. You guys play on Xbox, so you get it before me, I'm waiting for the PC version. (>_<)

Well that doesn't seem to make much sense, plus for those that have to wait, that seriously sucks. I'm downloading it now. Decided to get my pc daily activity out of the way early. Iz-so-happ-E Haha, I really wanna see Garrus on this tv =D EDIT - Well that was fast.... wtf? LoL, I was expecting it to at least last a half hour. My experience? I don't wanna give a lot away but Anderson sure does cuss... a LOT in the demo. So funny. And Garrus didn't disappoint. Nor did Wrex or Mordin. Psh, freaking Liara. She was just there. Anyways.... now I have the rest of the day to do nothing -.- Meh, might as well start another game save and this time try and hold the contents of my stomach while being faithful to Kaidan.

I'm sure there will be more to do once the MP demo unlocks for you. I intend to get alot of use out of it when I'm not playing MW3 and BF3.
EDIT: Played Multiplayer. Really neat stuff, but it is ATROCIOUSLY difficult to play alone (as it should be). Definitely recommend you play with as many people as possible.

I never could get the hang of the grenades for some reason. I'm much better at biotics anyways. But I wanted to ask, if you're playing the mulit-player, is it a different mission from the two the single players cover?

Yeah. The multiplayer available in the demo is a wave defense of sorts. The two maps available have pretty much nothing to do with the single player portion. In terms of gameplay though, its pretty much identical to the single player in every aspect except that using the command HUD doesn't pause the game like in SP, so any commands and skills you may want to use you have to decide on quick. Enemies are also significantly more aggressive than single player counterparts, so it basically forces you to play as a team. Doing it solo is too difficult to be worth it, even if you manage to pull off a win.

Ah okay, so it sounds roughly similar to COD zombies. Take point, wait for them to generate and take out as many as possible.

With CoD zombies its a little different, because the number of zombies that spawn is dependent on the number of players in game. In ME3 you get the same amount of enemies regardless of the number of players, so there is no benefit whatsoever to playing it solo other than getting more experience per player maybe.

Ah okay. Well I hope it changes. Especially if you can have more than two people in the same room which I am sure I can get. That's if Travis would like to meet Red?? Maybe? Don't worry, she's a sweetheart. I'm sure the three of us can kick some major ass on the 360 if it allows it =)
Speaking of which, Jake you are welcome to add me ya know? Well, if you want to. I rarely ever talk on there when I am on because 99.999% of what I do is all single player games. But that's just if you feel like it. Let me know, and I'll shoot you a pm although I think I already blabbed out my gamertag on here somewhere in the past.
Anyways, i'm gonna go. Joe, that's also extended to you as well. I think you're about the only other one on here other than Zack that has me added on the 360. Whoever feels up to playing the co-op is always welcome. Just let me know who you are ahead of time or else I will decline the invite.

The offer is appreciated, but I'll have to pass it up. Unfortunately I'm pretty much married to the mouse and keyboard, I wouldn't even dream of playing ME with a pad. So as a result, I'll be sticking pretty much exclusively to the PC, since by the time they release a XIM3 update for ME3, the actual game will be out and the multi demo will be closed down.

So I played the demo yesterday. Like every other demo I've ever played it was pretty lousy. I don't like how Shepard walks. It feels like he's not even moving his feet at all. Finally being able to dodge roll was great though. Plus it seemed like I could beat the fuck out of enemies with my fist alot easier now. I also heard that the guy who voiced Mordin wasn't coming back for ME3 but in the demo he sounds about right. Can't really tell since he talks over a radio the whole time. Btw are Krogans like fucking muslims or something? What's with the female krogan wearing that burqa?
Oh yeah and go ahead and send me your gamertag Tif. You'll know who I am when I add you.

lol I thought the same thing about Krogans being based on Muslims when I first saw the female krogan, but my roommate (who is from Egypt) said that Krogan are about as far removed from Muslims as can be. The female clothing is about the only similarity.
