Halloween Event (Everyone is welcomed)

The night was never brighter. The sound of loud music ran through the city streets and jovial people socializing with each other. Colorful costumes besieged the city, cults coming to manifest at the heart of the scene.


In the town square, booths were set up to make and sell food. The stage had a banner with the ShinRa logo at the center, and a few names of companies helping to make this possible for joining them tonight. A band was set up on stage right now, playing their captivating music as people either just watched and listened or danced to it. Above the stage resided a large screen with a smaller screen on each side of it. It reflected whatever was on stage up on it so that people in the back could see what was going on. Beside the stage were large speakers that rose and gave really good sound, while the tech crew was set up behind the stage.

Fire jugglers, dancing gypsies, sword swallowers, the pyro dancers, all of them seem to break their shell tonight and attract the crowds. Story tellers too seemed to attract people to them with their horrifying tales.


A fortune teller set up camp on the edge of the town’s square to tell girls all the secrets they wanted to know. Another booth was set up to help kids paint or even carved pumpkins.

Face painting was done by some professional makeup artists. Men in scary masks were walking around and scaring little children…

There was also a makeshift haunted house on the side, made from some run down store building. Couples were always welcomed. Cob webs and black dusty cloth swung in the door way, while a man dressed as a demon butler stood at the entrance to welcome people to his master’s humble abode.

Despite it being an outside event, tables were set up to a so those who decided to order food could be given assigned waiters or waitresses to run over and fetch them their orders.


Cissnei, dressed as a bunny girl, was a hostess of this event. She was cursing these heels she was in, though the black see through stockings weren’t as bad as she thought they would be. The bunny suit itself almost appeared to be a tailored tail coat in the back with a fuzzy white tail attached to the back side. White trimming lined the main black of the outfit.


Hurrying to the stage, she cursed this event. The band finished its music as she finally reached the microphone. The cameras switched to her and she appeared on all the screens around the stage.


“Hello everyone! I hope you are having a good time! We have plenty of activities planned ahead, and plenty of people to meet! So don’t miss out on any of the fun events for tonight! We here at ShinRa hope you have a wonderful time! Next we have some belly dancers that will dazzle your mind. ”


She made a gesture to the lovely lady dancers dressed in a myriad of mind boggling colors. She stepped off stage with a soft sigh. Damn Rufus for making her wear this getup. She did not mind the clothes, but the heels were a bit dreadful.

The Haunted Mansion was an attraction planned and orchestrated by the performers of the Edge Production Company, whose members had decided to travel to Junon and participate in ShinRa’s holiday festival. For those poor souls who dared to enter, they were in for quite the treat…

Or would it be trick?

From mummies and ghosts to chain saw murders and tax collectors, all could be found within.

And who was it that guarded the entrance to this Maison de l'horreur?

Why, it was none other than Cicero Corneo, otherwise known by the moniker of Fricco diMarin.

Outside the doors he stood, clad in the costume of a demonized butler with his skin painted to a sallow complexion. The contacts he wore seemed to make his eyes luminesce like mako as he watched his master’s approaching guests through wire-rimmed glasses. Donning an eerie smile, he’d greet the guests with a grandiose bow and say unto them:

“Welcome, Good Monsieur and Madame. Do enter. We’ve been expecting you.”

Despite his general distaste for such loud and honestly garish affairs, a relatively young man found himself drawing nearer to the festivities and wondering just why he was. True, though he had received an invitation from one of his more loyal associates and had it on good authority that many possible customers and previous business partners would be here, it wasn't as though he would recognize them. Or vice versa, he supposed as he looked down to his outfit with mildly contained distaste.

Never having dressed in costume for any event before, Tsurabisu had done his best with questionable success. For the first time in a long time, he was without formal businesswear. With no specific plan in mind for a costume, he had simply assembled something he hoped was vaguely similar to masquerade wear. Or, at least, something which might be mistaken for demonic in some manner. Covering his eyes in reverse of the manner his sunglasses ever did, a dark black mask adhered to the bridge of his nose and charcoal around his eyes helped to make his bright green irises pop, almost as if enhanced with some new form of Mako energy. His long brown hair was swept back cleanly from his brow and shoulders, layering down his upper back neatly and disappearing into the vaguely high color of his dark crimson cape. Kept open in the front and bound around his throat with an ornate, if tacky bat-shaped clasp, the cape allowed perfect view of his blood-stained white button-up shirt. Perhaps garishly, this was no effect, but one of his old work-shirts which had never quite made its way to a disposal fire. The rest of his ensemble consisted of his usual black slacks and work-shoes, though today he chose to wear his blade at his hip right out in the open. With any luck, it would be mistaken for a prop-weapon and allowed to remain in his ensemble.

Drawing nearer to the festivities, Tsurabisu rather abruptly realized something else. As a Shinra sponsored event, this was likely to be a very tense affair for anyone opposed to the corporation itself. A momentary frown crossed his face before he shook the thought from his mind, preparing to give whatever cooperation needed to enter and hopefully cross paths with someone who he had true interest in speaking with.
