So. What I'm always doing to pass the time while waiting for someone to post on the forums is playing League of Legends, an amazing MMO battle-arena that is free to play and is, by every sense of the word, awesome. And as part of their recruitment awards system, I'd like to recruit anyone on this forum who's interested, both for my gain in the game and your enjoyment  (Though mostly my gain >.> *cough cough* Nah just kidding, it's mainly for you to have an awesome way to spend time. Or is it? O.o) They also have two training games to teach you just how to play the game before you actually are thrown into the fray. That actually reminds me a lot of City of Heroes. Ever play that? I had an account with them for a while. That and umm what was it? Rappelz? Or something of another... I haven't played a mmorph in a long time. If I wasn't so hell bent on getting to the end of Fable a final time I might try this. How long does it take normally to download?

The download is reasonable. It's a tad lengthy, but Won't take you hours on end like, say, World of Warcraft. The installation itself is rather quick, however. And the downloader gives you the most recent version of the game.

Okay cool. I might check it out later today. But it's going to greatly depend on what I have to do later this evening. Any special names or instructions I should be aware of since I'm guessing you get credited if I type in a specific something?

As far as I know, as soon as you finish the account creation, your account is added to my recruitment list, and as soon as your summoner reaches lv 10, it's counted towards my rewards  |

I doubt this issue will be the same for you, but my downloader is a bit screwy. It only gives me disk one of the entire League of Legends folder. If you'd be so kind as to send me the complete file, perhaps in parts if needed, if yours downloads correctly? I'd happily make my e-mail address unhidden for this help . My computer was recently hit with a win32 trojan, so I lost everything, including my LoL files, and now I can't get it back D: |
