Down at the Junon docks, the two triumphant men returned from the Northern crater with their huge stone. It had changed color a few times on the way back and was currently a Topaz (yellow).
"We're gonna be millionaires once people see what this stone can do. I just hope it stays golden until its bought. It seems to hide the frozen guy inside."
"TRue, but if someone sees it change its value could soar as well" A forklift took the stone off the boat and brought it inside a warehouse. As it stopped inside, the stone slid off the forklift and landed on the ground hard. The back of the stone cracked a bit and some icy looking air leaking out the back. The pair who found Ashnard soon came in and the icy smoke had died down, it was now leaking a liquid. The pair were unaware and started dragging in some of the Investors.
"Thats it folks. The giant stone. Its-" Alondite gave off another glow inside and the stone turned blue. However, it was not all blue, the top quarter was white an dthe white part was growing.
"Is your stone...leaking?" One of the investors asked. The panic struck pair ran up to the stone and inside, the knight was moving. His armor had vanished as well and he looked to be in his early twenties. Suddenly his sword swung and shattered the stone from inside.
CALAMITY. I SHALL DESTROY YOU Ashnard ran past the pair and swung his sword whioch cleanly went right through the forklift. Ashnard paused as the machines top half fell to the ground. The pair looked at each other.
"Did you get what he said?"
"No. Sounded foreign. But I was sure nobody spoke Wutainese anymore."
The Calamity is gone and these humes speak the GI language?
"What....year is it...?" Ashnard suddenly asked trying to remember the right words.
"Oh he knows Gaian? Um, its 2021 AC (after Calamity)" Ashnard went silent and sat down. That didnt mean anything to him. Last day he recalled was the 18th day of Minerva.
