Can't speak for anyone else, but a lot has happened in a very short amount of time here.
1 - Mom was in a bad car accident on Christmas Eve morning. The bastard child driving behind her didn't even break. He totaled not only his car, but hers as well. She was in and out of the hospital over the next couple of days
2 - Then on Jan 5th, the family was all notified her brother, my only uncle I have left on her side was taken into the ICU. He passed away on the 9th from what I was told a horrible way to die. But I mean by this point I figured it wasn't going to be an easy passing.
So i'm washing my mopey black clothing now trying to both physically and mentally prepare myself to be there for my mom which has not only been through Hell and back with her car and her own body, but now has lost her last brother. The viewing and funeral is tomorrow at 2 which does still give me some time, but not a whole lot to dally.
But yeah, that was my fucking Christmas and New Years
