Kasumi isn't a romance option. You can't even really talk to her. She just says random shit when you do. Same with Zaeed. Btw Kasumi likes Jacob. Yeah....At first I didn't like Kasumi. Something about her voice bothers me. Then when I did her loyalty mission I thought she was okay. Then she said something like, "Jacob...Mmmmm yeah." So I was like no fuck you. Kasumi wants Jacob to Shadow Strike her with his black anaconda.
I'll admit, I was going after Miranda at first and then I played Tali's loyalty mission. After that I couldn't help myself. I told Miranda to go fuck herself. To me, Tali wasn't all that interesting in the first game but in the second one she's fucking adorable. I guess in the third game I'll have to choose between Tali and Liara.........or just fuck somebody new. Bwhahaha!.........no really I'm going with Tali.
Also I'll just say Garrus is my favorite character. I really hope him and Shepard fight Reapers through gardens, electronic stores, and classy antique shops and then high three each other.
Although I do like the Turian councilor. He's such an asshole. Harbinger: ASSUMING DIRECT CO- TC: Ah yes, "Reapers". We have dismissed you! Harbinger: Awww. I FELT that and it hurt ME.

I'd have to agree, Garrus is my favorite crewmember. Too bad he sucked donkey nuts in combat in ME1. I also romanced Tali in both of my save files, for pretty much the same reasons. We'll see how that turns in out in ME3.
I am very much looking forward to an epic ending with Garrus in the party.

I think my entire crew, no matter who they were, they KO’d in the first game in an important battle. So I was going through medigel like it was candy. So thankful that they had more longevity in ME 2. But Garrus and Tali both seemed to struggle in the first game no matter how many upgrades I gave them. But even though it was a pain at times, I still managed to have Garr in my party for the rest of the game awarding me with the 360 achievement.
As for the second half, I found myself using Jack and Kasumi a lot more than normal. I think I used their abilities as a crutch at times while flip-flopping Garrus’s and Thane’s ability to shoot from a distance. Which left my Cynthia Shepard to either use her hellacious biotic or her brute strength to take whatever came our way to just maul them over. That proved especially effective when it came to the groupings of swarms mixed with husks and collectors.
For romance, I wished Kas wasn’t so strung out on Jacob. But what are ya gonna do ya know? I mean, her supposed love of her life is dead. Yet she wants to hook up with someone that looks like a black Mr. Ed (seriously, what the fuck is going on with that mans teeth!?!?!?!) I sat last night and watched Jacob talk thinking if he wanted to, he could chew through the core of a distant planet. Forget probing, just stick his ass on the end of a long stick, face down and let his start gnawing away. -shivers- anyways…
As a staple member of the group, I have to agree that Garrus is the best choice. He is a strong favorite of mine, but I don’t want to consider going into the game without Thane, Kasumi, or Jack even though I already know that at least in the first few hours or so of play through, I’ll have to deal with Kaidan and the other guy one of you mentioned that was a newer addition. He’s in some of the trailers, forget what you said his name was. Maybe he’ll prove to be a great asset. I’m sure having Wrex back will ease my tension some however. But Liara? Really!? Geeze…I’m not even sure what to think about that. The fact that I am not an asari person doesn’t help, but in the first game she was so wimpy. But ME 2, she proved to have more backbone at least. I seriously would love to just have turians, drell, and krogans. To hell with all the others.
Now that I’m thinking about it, I need to go back to the shadow brokers ship and look up the files on everyone from ME 2. I was talking with Cloud, and he was the one to tell me about reading them in the first place. I actually found out Jacks full name while reading up on her. And damn if I didn’t forget it! Pisses me off. I know her first name is Jacqueline. But the last in is still evading my thought. The poem she wrote was pretty interesting though. And as far as Miranda, and making me feel something more for her? It didn’t. In fact, it made her that much more of a bitch. Like she’s something superior to all males. No matter if they are human or not. Blegh, idk. I just don’t care for the “perfect” woman. God knows she threw that in my Shepard’s face enough. “Oh whine whine whine, my daddy spent all his credits to give me the superior look and abilities. Whine whine whine, I am so awesome but you don’t seem to appreciate me” Damn right I don’t! Now move your huge white ass OFF my screen so I can go and talk to Garrus and his stories about reach and flexibility! Haha…
Uh… anyways, I should go. But yes-yes! Looking forward to March as well. Many preperations, must gather data. Much work!

For ME1 I usually rocked Garrus and Wrex. In ME2 I would stick to Garrus and Grunt in the early game, in the late game I would swap out either one for Legion as the situation demanded. Every once in a while I would run Legion and Tali for the double drone setup (I could have added a third one if Shepard had the right class, but I prefer a Soldier Shepard.)

Yeah, I think I said earlier in this thread that Garrus sucked ass in ME1. Although eventually he got better. I actually used him for most of the game but apparently not enough for the achievement. I got the one for using Ashley all game though. Like I've probably said before I didn't have a problem with her. As for Liara....yeah she's okay. I liked her banter with Shepard while they were chasing after that Spectre chick in the Shadow Broker DLC. Miranda....eh she's okay when she's not going on about her perfect genes. Jack....well part of me wants to say she can just go fuck herself but I don't dislike her THAT much. Thane had a cool voice but I thought he was overall kinda boring.
Anyways I never had a permanent team in ME2. It was mainly Garrus and somebody else. Just never Zaeed, Jack, Kasumi, or Jacob though. I only used them when I had to. Eventually it came down to Garrus and Tali.
Oh yeah I will partly agree with the Asari thing. Like I said Liara is okay but Samara was a lousy replacement. I liked that bartender chick from Illium just because she was kinda funny. I liked Aria, the big boss of Omega, as well but that was mainly because she was voiced by Trinity from The Matrix. lol.
Oh yeah I recently restarted ME1 doing a renegade path. I can see how people said it's tough to play the second one and go back to the first. I like that I don't CONSTANTLY have to go into cover all the fucking time but I hate how long it takes for powers to recharge. Plus having to manage weapons, armor, and add ons or whatever is just tedious. I also can't decide if I want to use Garrus and Wrex or Tali and Wrex for my party.

One thing they improved on is the time it takes to get shit done in ME 2. I know how you feel Jake, I’m still working my way into another save from ME to ME 2 and I hate every freaking major mission. They take forever, and the auto saves are ridiculous! I wasn’t paying attention when I knew I was going to release the queen and when the purge went down, damn if I didn’t get stuck between two adults and fucking died trying to make it to the elevator! Needless to say, that was another 20 minutes of play through I had to endure just to get past that mission. I swear… but, I don’t hate ME, I just can’t stand the wait. The recharge, and like you said, having to take cover. Don’t even get me started on the fucking elevator rides.
Anyways, some fun info (and rather sad, and interesting finds from the Shadow Broker)
Did you know -
Jacks full name? I finally found it! Jacqueline Nought
Also, it’s safe to say Grunt is fully mature considering his last purchase was the krogan’s edition of Fornax. I laughed my ass off reading that one.
As for the sad part (mostly for me) Thane’s left lung is in horrible shape. I read the report of his health status and it seriously bummed me out. The fact that he’s refusing a transplant annoys me to no end. I swear, that drell better do something about it because he is not going to die on my clock -.- And if he does, there is gonna be one seriously pissed off tThane-Girl.
Oh yes, and Miranda. True, Travis had a point. It was somewhat heart wrenching to read about Miranda and her pursuit to have a child just to be told she couldn’t. But even that news couldn’t overshadow the fact that she’s so damn superficial. Seriously, the vlogs of her scanning men to the perfect mate for her? Just no…
But yeah, just thought I’d share that since no one else, not even the Mass Effect Wiki had Jack’s full name on it. I knew that shit was in the game too! But I flaked and couldn’t remember it till I made it a point to go back and revisit the ship yesterday.

I just finished my third ME2 save, gonna go back and replay it again to try and save all of the crew this time around (I always forget to do the loyalty missions ASAP so I can actually have everyone survive the suicide mission and rescue the whole crew besides just Dr. Chawkwas).

Lol you never saved everybody? I'm glad I wasn't the only one who fucked that up. I had no fucking clue I had to go through the relay right away.
Oh and about ME1's crappy auto saving....It didn't bother me much. I'm used to playing older games where YOU had to actually save, not the game. And to be honest I didn't mind the elevator rides. I'd rather have that and listen to Garrus and Wrex talk shit to each other or hear the news about the cool shit that I'm doing than watch a loading screen showing that I'm landing on a planet or traveling to another area all showcased in Tron graphics.
I thought Miranda being a bitch to those guys was funny. I mean really the game even tells you during the loading screens that there aren't decent dating websites or whatever they are in THE FUTURE! Then again I'm just defending her because I know what it's like to talk to people on the internet. It fucking sucks. Also I don't think she's that superficial.....if you make the ugliest fucking Shepard. Lol. Besides I kind of like the fact that she's picky. She wont just sleep with anything regardless of gender....unlike Jack.
If Thane dies then....oh well lol. I'd be a helluva lot more upset if Mordin dies. I'm not sure about his age but I think he's close to hitting 40. Then again he's probably one of the rare Salarians that will live past 40.
So uhh yeah. I played that project overload DLC if I haven't mentioned it already. That was pretty cool. It was probably the most fun out of all the DLC. But I still have to say that pissing off Martin Sheen was the most enjoyable moment for me out of ME1 and 2. I have no idea why either. I mean throughout all of ME2 he's like, "Oh well I wouldn't have handled the mission that way but you're in charge Shepard." Then I destroyed the collector base and he's like, "THE FUCK?! You destroyed the base?! GET FUCKED, SHEPARD!" I just loved the look on his face. Somehow that moment just overshadows everything else in the game. lol.

lol yeah. Overlord was probably the best DLC in terms of gameplay. And no, in all of my playthoughs I've never saved anybody because I have a habit of leaving the loyalty missions for last instead of doing them right as they become available. So whenever I finally reached the end of the game and I had the choice of either going straight through the relay or completing loyalty missions first I would always do loyalty missions

First time I ever played ME 2, Miranda was the only one to die since I had no clue that after finishing either her or Jack’s loyalty mission, I’d have to choose either side (didn’t have anywhere near the amount of paragon points to unlock the mutual understanding option.) Then I think I fudged something up my 2nd play though and damn if Miranda AND Mordin died! I was so pissed off he died. But about the 3rd time was when I finally started to get the hang of everyone making it through…. Well the main crew. But somehow managed to get Kelly liquefied. Luckily, the last two saves I have stored has everyone safe including the ships members. And I’m certain that since I got the hang of things, Riza will have everyone saved on hers as well. Just weird. I finally did it though! I talked the talk so many times now saying how much I wasn’t going to allow Kaidan to live, and I didn’t. Muhaha! Riza is one hard ass bitch. She sorta kinda somewhat flirted with him but when it came down to who she had to set off the bomb, oh yes… he bit the big one. And what’s so funny is, she doesn’t have any strings! I love it =) No dumbass photo of him on her desk to clutter it up. And a very short cut scene on Horizon for ONCE where she didn’t have to be bitched out and told she was once loved. So since she’s free to prowl, I figured Riza would save herself for Garrus. I mean, come on! He’s such a badass! She needs a badass… (considering Roy Mustang is nowhere to be found) Gah, you actually stuck up for Miranda? Fine. Okay, she somewhat grew on me this past game ONLY because I took the time to go back and actually talk to her. I still get her out of that fucking white suit as soon as possible though. The material just… ick. She’s so much better in the black catsuit =) But Samara? Haha, I still avoid her like the plague. Not that I hate her or anything, she is freakin’ freaky looking! I wish I could sew a massive zipper on her clothes and zip them all the way up to her chin. Maybe then I wouldn’t be so weirded out. Overlord… was that the one about the brothers? I wanted to punch that bitch in the daddy bags for what he did to his bro. That mission did something to me, seriously. How anyone could subject their own siblings to such shit. Idk, the guys eyes haunt me for some reason. And the other mission to supposedly save the doc as a favor to Hacket? I freaking shot the bitch -.- LoL, and it fucked up my perfect paragon but I swear it was worth it Anywho, I do agree that Mordin needs to survive. He’s such a vindictive lil sweetheart. Sadistic doctor with a heart of gold? Hardly, but he makes me laugh. And it always seems like he’s spewing off at the mouth about everyone’s personal medical history. Gotta love it. So yeah, Eve better not fudge his chances at survival in my game….

I am looking forward to this Valentine's Day. Already plan to do nothing but play the 360 for MOST of the day. Gonna wake up, maybe brush my teeth.... to hell with changing out of my clothes I slept in. (besides, that takes away from playtime) And I shall sloth away playing the demo over... and over. Possibly over again. Haha, if it's anything like playing ME 2, then I'm sure I'll even have the dialogue remembered by the time the 15th rolls around >.>
