I've been meaning to put this thread up for quite some time...
Even though it's not part of the Compilation of FFVII, this game is just to great to ignore. So here it is! Feel free to discuss anything related to Dissidia here!!!

So it's bascially the main character and villian from each FF game that's playable right? I saw a trailer recently and...I thought Kuja sounded lame but Kefka was even worse!

Yeah, just about. It's supposed to have a pretty deep story however, and twice as much dialougue as CCFFVII...

For you importers, the JP release date is December 18th. No news on a international release yet...

UPDATE: The heroes for V, VI, and VII have been announced!
Bartz Klauser (Butz in the US) (FFV)
Terra Branford (FFVI)
Cloud Strife (FFVII)
That officially completes the roster!

No it doesn't. Shantotto(FFXI) and Gabranth(FFXII) were announced. Shantotto is for the heros and Gabranth is for the villians.

It also got really high ratings ( 36/40 from Famitsu, which means this is definitely worth getting when it's released here in the States...it might even be worth an import)

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Was checking out some vids, this game is insanely pwn. Luckly they've confirmed a mid-'09 release, so I don't have to go crazy and import it.
